Wildcats Win in Weather Delayed Game

The Wildcats rebounded from an opening loss to La Vega to defeat Aubrey last Friday night. Trailing 10-3 in the second quarter, QB Trey Smith scored the first touchdown of the year on 43 yard run to even the score before half. The Wildcats then took the opening drive of the third quarter to take the lead and hold as weather delayed and eventually canceled the game. The Wildcats are now 1-1 on the season and head up to Springtown on Friday 9/12. Springtown is 2-0, with wins coming against Joshua and Graham.
